For the past couple of weeks I have been talking about email branding. If you would like to get caught up, feel free to review my prior posts. Today I will continue talking about email branding. It is very important to be consistent with your branding when sending emails every time.
You may be using multiple formats in your email. If your email does not match your brand, then people may not recognize every email you have sent. At the same time, if your emails are all different, then you may not be able to create the type of reaction you are looking for.
For example: If your readers recognize your newsletters as being pretty wordy. They may just save it to review at a later time. But if your readers recognize your emails as an invitation to an event. Well then you want them to open it right away.
All of your emails should always match your brand identity. Just make the email body a little different so people can identify the email.
Four ways to brand your multiple email formats but still keeping consistent identity.
* Always use the same top bar image within your email. You can change the colors slightly of each format.
* Change the colors slightly in your logo. This will still keep your emails consistent.
* Change the colors slightly in the backgrounds and borders.
* Use some eye catching graphics in the title.
Keeping consistency in your emails can and will improve your email openings.
