  • Twitter limits your tweets to 140 characters. So twitter is a perfect place to share links to PR releases and stories about your business or products. The purpose of twitter is to gain followers. The best way to do this is share news and stories pertaining to your industry. This will give you the opportunity to become a reference to people who are looking for information on your topic.

You can also branch out by tweeting other stories. But always keep in the back of your mind what your brand is as a whole. Tweeting about other stories will also show the human side of your company.

  • Twitter gives you the ability to take certain thoughts and share it with millions of people. Then in return, your customers or followers can spread your tweet with millions of additional followers. This is a way of getting your message to go viral.

Your followers can help you get your message out. But you must first find out who they are, give first, before asking for something.  You can spot your fans by keeping your eye on who retweets your posts most of the time.

  • Twitter is and excellent tool to use in Customer Service.  Involving the right people in your business using twitter can save time, money and frustration. This is a win-win for everyone.
