Here is my story.
I started in the network marketing industry two years ago. When I started, I had no clue on what to do. I started out, "like any other Network Marketer", bugging my friends and family. Day after day I was either turned down or nobody had interest in what I was doing. I really started getting burnt out and thought about quitting many times. Many people have joined my business and most of them have quit because they had no motivation. To this day, I am always and will continue to build my business. I have learned that not everybody who joins your business will stick to it. But the ones who do and want it as bad as you do, will succeed. My objective is "always work with the willing!"
After about one and a half years into network marketing, I had met a guy online by the name of Bill Gelwick. Keep in mind, I have not been in the industry long. I really wanted to learn how to market myself using the internet, because we all know bothering your friends and family will not get you to the point of success. I had tried most of the typical stuff you read on the internet to market your business. Nothing was working, but I had started a blog. At the beginning, it took me a long time to learn how to blog and to set one up. I had the basics, but it just was not good enough. So I started looking up to different bloggers and Bill happened to find me on Facebook. Bill had asked me if I would like to join his group "The Lamppost." So of coarse I did. I will never regret joining Bill's group because I have learned so much from him and his group's community. Shortly after I joined the Lamppost, Bill started another group called "Syndication Elation." These two groups have taught me so much on how to market myself, that to this day, I now hold a page ranking of "2". It took me a very long time to even get ranked. But I know its because I had followed a great and informational blogger, Bill Gelwick.
There are several other people in my groups that have been very helpful, like Terri Pattio, Wendell Bulbaai, Rex Harris and so on. I can't write all of them but you know who you are. I would recommend anybody who want's to learn from others and get your information out there, that you join Bill's group "Syndication Elation."
Thank you my friends!

Thank you Wendell for the kind comment. Yes, it's always a struggle from the beginning. But as soon as you get a hang of it with help from others, it makes life a whole lot easier. You have great work and I enjoy reading it.
ReplyDeleteHey Tim great post. I love the personal stories because we as readers get to learn about you. My story is pretty exactly the same but the names are switched (literally lol).
